Living in the South, is it what you think? Wilmington NC Hurricanes, Bugs and Heat - Is Wilmington NC right for you? Let's talk about the many facets of living in this coastal, Southern town to help you decide. Wilmington NC is growing quickly these days. Many folks have found this port city desirable, and have decided to call it home. But even with that said, is it right for YOU? There are many wonderful things to say about Southeastern North Carolina, and the Wilmington area is beautiful, no question. Do we get hurricanes occasionally? Yes. Are bugs a problem here? Yes. And with any growing town, traffic is also an issue.
