What happens when it SNOWS in Wilmington, NC? | The South's Deep Freeze
What happens when it SNOWS in Wilmington, NC? Everything shuts down, that's what. No school and some restaurants and shops close down because we don't have the capacity to clear the roads. The South is currently in a deep freeze. So North Carolina isn't the only area experiencing this. Instead, much of the south just got a rare snow storm, along with frigid temperatures that we're not use to, or fully equipped for. Most of our homes are heated with heat pumps that are struggling to keep up with the cold. It's important for us to start the vehicles in the driveway to make sure the cold isn't compromising the batteries. These are just some of the tips I have for you, for when it snows in and is FREEZING in Wilmington, NC. If you have questions or comments, please reach out!
